Technical Aspects
The contact page uses a program I wrote to validate the sender's data and email their message to the site owner and sender. Most of the messages received have been from aspiring ESL teachers who wanted advice.
This site was created using a very complex table for the layout. Although sophisticated for its time, this technique is no longer recommended. We will be redesigning the site to use Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout. Compared to table layouts, CSS layouts require much less code and thus are much quicker downloading. CSS layouts are also easier to maintain and redesign.
